At EuroSkills Herning 2025, Austria’s Jonas Danninger claimed the gold medal in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning category, also earning the ‘Best of Nation’ title as the top Austrian competitor across all skills.
From 10 to 14 September, 597 young professionals from 32 countries competed in 38 disciplines. The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning skill drew finalists from 10 European nations, showcasing technical precision and problem-solving under timed competition.
Silver went to Maxime Armange of France, while Álex Caro Tello from Spain secured bronze. Medallions for Excellence were awarded to Jakub Stískal (Slovakia) and Nicolai Rosted Callesen (Denmark), recognizing performances that exceeded international standards.
Other participants in the category included Andrin Neyer (Switzerland), Dinis Monserrate (Portugal), André Pauly (Germany), Jan Kudláček (Czech Republic), and Patryk Kaczkowski (Poland).
EuroSkills 2025 concluded with a ceremony at Jyske Bank Boxen, where the EuroSkills flag was handed over to Germany, host of the upcoming EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027.
