Automated Logic, a provider of building-management solutions and part of Carrier Global Corporation, has completed two acquisitions aimed at expanding its intelligent building-automation footprint in North America and Europe. The company has acquired Control Solutions, Ltd. in Canada and Blaich Automation GmbH in Germany, establishing its first company-owned field offices in both regions.
Automated Logic – Canada, Ltd. acquired Control Solutions, Ltd. (CSL), an independent provider of integrated building-automation systems based in Coquitlam, British Columbia. This transaction marks Automated Logic’s first field office in Vancouver and broadens its ability to deliver building solutions across commercial, education, data center, residential, and mixed-use sectors in Western Canada. CSL will continue operations with its current leadership and staff.
Carrier also announced the acquisition of Blaich Automation GmbH, which will operate as an Automated Logic field office in Germany. Based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen near Stuttgart, Blaich Automation designs and integrates automation systems for buildings, industrial facilities, and media technologies, with a focus on mission-critical sectors including data centers and pharmaceuticals. Its leadership and employees will remain in place.
“These acquisitions represent a strategic step in strengthening Automated Logic’s presence in Canada and Central Europe and expanding our ability to deliver integrated, intelligent building solutions in high-demand sectors,” said Andy Bierer, Managing Director, ALC Field, and Karl Boerner, Managing Director, Central Europe, Carrier Climate Solutions Europe Commercial, in separate statements.
Leaders of both acquired companies emphasized the shared commitment to innovation and customer value. “Joining Automated Logic is an exciting new chapter for our team,” said Chad Thomas and Eddie McCool of Control Solutions. Daniel Blaich, Founder and CEO of Blaich Automation, added that becoming an Automated Logic field office “will enable us to expand our impact and deliver even greater value to our customers across Germany and beyond.”
Terms of both transactions were not disclosed.
