Beijer Ref and SWEP Extend Global Partnership Agreement

Beijer Ref and SWEP have announced the extension of their long-standing partnership for another three years. The agreement strengthens their collaboration across 45 markets globally, encompassing Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. This partnership will continue to support Beijer Ref's distribution network, which spans over 500 branches.

SWEP, a global leader in brazed plate heat exchangers with manufacturing facilities in Sweden, Slovakia, the United States, China, and Malaysia, has been a key supplier to Beijer Ref. The renewed agreement underpins the companies' commitment to advancing solutions in CO2 and natural refrigerants, reflecting the industry’s technological evolution.

Beijer Ref holds several key distribution agreements. Its well-balanced mix of brands and suppliers ensures a uniquely broad product range in the market. We have extensive experience with SWEP as one of our key suppliers for both our OEM and wholesaling activities, with a product portfolio that is important to Beijer Ref's future CO2 development."

Fredrik Paulsson, SWEP General Manager EMEA, comments: “We are very pleased to renew our long-established partnership with Beijer Ref. We are entering an era of major change and technological shift in CO2 and natural refrigerants markets and this partnership gives the best possible framework for serving the refrigeration and HVAC markets in the future”.

The contract renewal was celebrated at a signing ceremony held on December 13, 2024, at Beijer Ref’s headquarters in Malmö, Sweden. Attendees included Rikard Tieger, SWEP Sales Director EMEA North; Fredrik Paulsson, SWEP GM EMEA; Jonas Steen, Beijer Ref COO & EVP EMEA; and Matthieu Rousseeuw, Beijer Ref Group Purchasing Director.
