Beijer Ref completes acquisition of Inventor

Beijer Ref completes acquisition of Inventor. On July 14, 2021, Beijer Ref signed a binding agreement to acquire 80% of the shares in the air conditioning company Inventor, with the option to acquire the remaining share. The acquisition of the Romanian business segment has been approved, without reservation, by the Romanian Competition Authority and the acquisition completed thereafter.

Inventor, which has its headquarters in Athens (Greece), with a second sales office in Bucharest (Romania), will continue to operate under its own brand and will be included in the Beijer Ref Group's accounts from 13 October 2021.

Christopher Norbye, CEO Beijer Ref, comments:

"I am happy we have now closed and executed the acquisition. With the acquisition of Inventor, Beijer Ref enters the Greek market and strengthens its positions on other markets. Inventor has great potential with proven expertise and the acquisition is in line with our growth strategy. We look forward to continuing their strong development."
