AMCA Australia has announced a leadership transition with the appointment of Ben Hawkins as its new Chief Executive Officer, following the departure of outgoing CEO Scott Williams.
Scott Williams led AMCA through a transformative period, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the organisation's transition from a federation of state bodies to a national association. Under his leadership, AMCA also assembled a new executive team to support long-term growth.
Ben Hawkins has been involved with AMCA for over a decade in various capacities. According to the association, he brings a strong understanding of the HVAC industry’s national scope and maintains established relationships with members.
“It’s an honour to be entrusted with this role,” said Ben Hawkins. “I’m looking forward to working with our members, partners, and the Board to strengthen our industry’s capability and influence.”
The AMCA Board reaffirmed its commitment to supporting members and promoting the HVAC sector’s role in Australia’s built environment.
