BITZER UK appoints Cliff Gills to Head Up Industrial Refrigeration Sales

BITZER UK has appointed Cliff Gills to the position of Industrial Refrigeration Business Line Manager, with responsibility for the company’s industrial refrigeration portfolio.

Among his responsibilities, Cliff will spearhead the roll-out of BITZER’s award-winning Ammonia Compressor Pack (ACP), the factory-built system designed as a high efficiency, zero-GWP solution for industrial and large commercial applications.

Cliff has many years’ experience in senior management and national sales in the industrial cooling sector, including service with Integral, Johnson Controls and Star Refrigeration.

He said: “BITZER’s new ACP is a superb piece of engineering. It gives end users a level of peace of mind – in terms of safety and reliability – simply not possible before with ammonia systems. With outstanding efficiency and zero GWP, it is a future-proof option that I believe will rapidly become a default solution for industrial projects, particularly in the food and drink and process industries.”

Kevin Glass, managing director of BITZER UK, said: “I am very pleased Cliff has joined the BITZER UK team. He brings a wealth of experience of both industrial technology and applications, and I am confident he will make an important contribution to the company and help deliver great solutions for our customers.”
