CAREL Earns Top Recognition for Sustainability and Governance

CAREL has been recognized for outstanding performance in sustainability and remuneration among mid-cap companies by The European House - Ambrosetti's Corporate Governance Observatory. The company achieved a top score of 9.40 out of 10 in the 2024 EG Index for remuneration mechanisms and ranked among the top five for Sustainability Governance with a score of 8.40.

The accolades are attributed to CAREL's inaugural Sustainability Plan, "Driven by the Future - Sustainability in Action," which established a Governance structure with ESG mandates focused on setting objectives and metrics to integrate sustainability into corporate management.

CEO Francesco Nalini remarked, “This recognition affirms our commitment to transparent governance and sustainable practices, highlighting our goal to create stakeholder value through top-tier remuneration policies and measurable sustainability initiatives.”

The European House - Ambrosetti's Corporate Governance Observatory, formed in 2004, provides benchmarks, analysis, and actionable recommendations to enhance governance in both listed and non-listed Italian companies.
