The Carrefour Group demonstrate their commitment to economic growth and as a partner of COP21 they practice sustainable and responsible trading. A prestigious retail project for a hypermarket in Bayonne, France began in the early part of 2016, with a quotation for SIGMA refrigeration installations combining air conditioning and heating. Each rack was specified with over 230kW of refrigeration, 145kW of heat recovery and 100kW in air conditioning.
Carrefour and Advansor worked together closely on the specification, with amendments to the capacities, design and options, with the final approach to contractors to tender for the on-site implementation. Advansor’s Regional Commercial Manager Darren Lacroix, won the project for both systems and succeeded in establishing the largest food retail CO2 system in France for Advansor. The Carrefour Bayonne hypermarket, with 5000m2 and over 150 employees, was commissioned in September and opened to the public on October 27th, 2016. '
