Carrier Taiwan has opened a new service station in Tainan, Taiwan. The new office will provide heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) services including scheduled maintenance, repairs and immediate responses to chiller issues for key accounts. The station will service the surrounding region, including the nearby Southern Science Park, an important thoroughfare for the technology industry in Taiwan. Services offered at the location include those provided through the BluEdge service platform, Carrier’s new best-in-class service and aftermarket offering.
According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, the output value of the Southern Science Park, which includes the Tainan Science Park and the Kaohsiung Science Park, increased by nearly 20% from 2012 to 2019. The rapid growth of output value mainly comes from the semiconductor and opto-electronics industries, which accounts for more than half of the output value in Southern Science Park. New semiconductor factories are expected to attract more tech companies to establish factories in the Southern district.
“We will assign professional engineers to support the high-tech industry with high-standard, timely and localized services for our customers including nearby wafer fabs, semiconductor and electronic technology companies," said Lu John, general manager, Carrier Taiwan. “We are confident that the Tainan service station will provide more rapid and comprehensive services to our customers.”
In 2020, Carrier Taiwan won contracts from an iconic semiconductor manufacturer in Tainan Science Park, which included the purchase of AquaEdge19XR-7 water-cooled centrifugal chillers. Carrier Taiwan coordinated with factories and suppliers to ensure the installation was completed on schedule.

This new service station in Tainan continues Carrier Taiwan’s commitment to provide customers high quality products and services.
