Carrier China has entered into a three-year service agreement with Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global commercial real estate firm, to deliver customized maintenance services to all Carrier chillers within the Cushman & Wakefield China portfolio. Carrier China is a part of Carrier, a world leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
Under the agreement, Carrier will design and implement a tailored maintenance package including annual maintenance, periodic inspections and emergency repairs for Carrier chillers under the management of Cushman & Wakefield for clients across China. The agreement covers AquaEdge 19XR water-cooled centrifugal chillers, AquaForce 30XW screw chillers, AquaForce 30HXC screw chillers and AquaForce 30XA/XQ air-to-water heat pumps. To provide timely, professional advice and technical support leading to greater efficiency, Carrier will also assign a team of service experts equipped with in-depth product knowledge and industry best practices to work side-by-side with Cushman & Wakefield.
“Heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) components need more than just regular servicing to maximize performance throughout the lifecycle of the equipment. A lifecycle maintenance service is of crucial importance to determine strategic maintenance milestones and predictively minimize costly repair through early and accurate diagnosis,” said James Zhu, HVAC service director, Carrier China. “We are delighted to see that Cushman & Wakefield fully recognizes the importance of this and is leveraging Carrier’s proven expertise to increase chiller lifespan and prevent downtime and inconvenience for its clients and occupants.”
