Chemours has named Nathan Blom as Vice President of its liquid cooling portfolio, effective June 9, 2025. The appointment supports the company’s strategy to expand in the liquid cooling market, viewed as a key area for growth.
Blom brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the technology and data center infrastructure sectors. His role will focus on advancing Chemours' liquid cooling business, which aligns with the company’s “Pathway to Thrive” strategy aimed at long-term market transformation.
Before joining Chemours, Blom was Co-CEO and Chief Commercial Officer at Iceotope Technologies, where he led commercial expansion and product development. He also held senior roles at Lenovo and HP, managing data center integration and OEM business development, respectively.
Chemours’ liquid cooling portfolio includes Opteon two-phase immersion cooling technology. The system features an ultra-low global warming potential (GWP 10), power usage effectiveness (PUE) approaching 1, and performance benefits such as reduced water use, 60% space savings, and up to 90% lower cooling energy consumption compared to conventional solutions.
