Criocabin supplied Scotts of Carshalton with a Criocabin Encore

Scotts of Carshalton is a family managed South London butcher with 4 generations of experience. They have struck a perfect balance between personality, excellent customer service, fantastic butchery skills and knowledge. The business has evolved and grown with the times, constantly updating their premises, and embracing the latest food trends and customer demands.

Criocabin and Creative Retail Solutions initially supplied a striking 2580mm long, behind the counter EPV dry aging unit which features heavily in the company’s marketing due to its imposing presence. Always full of quality joints the unit offers the flexibility of shelving and hanging rails to suit the available stock that day.

The customers appetite for self-service, readily marinated meals was increasing. The demand for pre-packaged meat was better suited as a ‘grab and go’ selection on the shop floor, rather than take up previous serve over display space. We supplied Scotts with a Criocabin Encore EE900-C remotely engineered run, made up of multiplexed 937mm, 1250mm and 1250mm units. All with black interior and exterior to match the Scotts iconic branding. In May 2020 we have supplied a further Criocabin Encore run of two 1875 EE900C multidecks which were installed successfully, working around the Covid-19 social distancing restrictions. The business has had daily queues outside of locals struggling to obtain their daily provisions. Scotts have installed effective adjustable sneeze guards above their serve overs to protect both customers and staff.  The recent edition of further multidecks has assisted them in their expedient supply of quality meat to their local community.
