Dachser and Daikin opened a new warehouse in Germany

On the 17th of October, Dachser and Daikin festively opened a new warehouse which will further support Daikin with its logistics across Germany. Daikin Germany has steadily increased warehouse capacity over the past years, primarily driven by the need to adapt storage capacity to match the growth of our distribution operations. With the new warehouse, Daikin is gearing up for the future.

Rainer Feichtmeier, General Manager Planning and Internal Operations at Daikin Germany, comments: “Today, on the occasion of this festive inauguration of our new warehouse in Ingolstadt, we are taking a significant leap forward. The location boast an impressive 13.000 cubic meters of storage space and 16.900 pallet positions. This warehouse is not just a structure; it is an investment in our future. With its impressive capacity, we are ensuring that our customers will receive the best possible supply and logistics service in the years to come.”

“This achievement would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of all those involved in this project. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our colleagues in Daikin Europe’s supply organization, as well as all the employees at Dachser for their outstanding contributions. It is your hard work, commitment, and perseverance that have brought us here today. Our journey towards the future is off to a strong start.”, concludes Philip Brangers,  General Manager Supply and Logistics at Daikin Europe.
