Daikin Applied announces the acquisition of SAEG Engineering Group, a Panama-based firm that expands the applied HVAC company’s ability to serve customers in all of Latin America’s major markets.
“SAEG bring us specific engineering expertise in the complex-project arena with a strong focus in industrial, mining, and pharmaceutical manufacturing,” states Daikin CEO Mike Schwartz. “This acquisition gives customers and our partners, immediate access to experts who will help create smarter, more configurable solutions that optimize building environments for their people.”
The team at SAEG brings a unique combination of proven engineering expertise as well as commercial support to the Daikin team. With the acquisition, Daikin Applied will be better positioned to meet customers’ needs in the growing building space with enhanced solutions and systems capabilities.
