Daikin Australia Opens Daikin Park Adelaide Facility

Daikin Australia proudly announces the official opening of its state-of-the-art Daikin Park Adelaide facility in South Australia. The occasion was commemorated with an opening ceremony attended by Daikin dealers and key business partners involved in the development of the site.

Leveraging the advanced Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS), the establishment's operations are powered by state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge features that set it apart from traditional warehouses. The new fulfillment and dispatch operations of Daikin’s finished goods and spare parts will provide an efficient and seamless logistics solution for customers throughout South Australia.

To streamline operations, the site has 4 inbound docks with a capacity of 400,000 pieces inbound per year, and 4 outbound docks facilitating up to 5,000 truckloads annually. The location also boasts 250,000 cubic meter Outbound Freight capacity per year.

In addition to its warehousing capabilities, the facility serves as a hub for customer convenience and professional development. Within its total size of 7,520 square meters, the site houses Daikin's South Australian Sales team, and the Daikin Trade Centre, enabling swift and personalized assistance for customers in South Australia. Furthermore, the location features a Training Academy, offering a range of expertly crafted training courses designed to elevate the skills and knowledge of air conditioning technicians.

Demonstrating Daikin’s commitment to sustainability, the establishment boasts an array of environmentally friendly features, including a rainwater harvesting system that can collect 15,000 litres of rainwater for irrigation and toilet use. Energy-efficient fixtures and fittings, along with low VOC carpet tiles, contribute to a reduced environmental footprint.

The opening of Daikin Park Adelaide aligns with Daikin Australia's expansion strategy and follows the opening of similar facilities in Melbourne and Brisbane. It demonstrates Daikin’s commitment to its valued dealers in the South Australian market. Daikin’s expansion initiative aims to achieve faster response times, improved inventory management, and ultimately, elevate customer experiences nationwide.
