Daikin MEA at ‘The Big 5 Exhibition’

Daikin, the global innovator and provider of advanced, high-quality air conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigeration (HVAC-R) products and solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications, successfully took part at this year’s edition of the Big 5 Exhibition, which was held from November 25-28, 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. During the exciting four-day show, the company threw the spotlight on its Modular Chiller Plant (MCP) solutions, which continues to enhance and solidify Daikin’s reputation and market position.

Now on its 40th year, the Big 5 show is now widely recognized as the biggest and most influential building and construction show in the Middle East region. This year's edition of the event attracted the participation of buyers and manufacturers of industry-related products from around the world while also providing a diverse educational agenda and numerous high-level conferences.

Daikin MEA’s main attraction at the show were the MCP solutions, which combines a chiller system, cooling tower, pumps and piping in a factory engineered, factory assembled package that also includes commissioning and after sales support. The innovative system is being presented as an ideal solution to owners who are seeking an engineered solution or when space and construction schedules are restricted.

Paolo Nascetti, Vice President-Applied, Daikin MEA, said, “The Big 5 Exhibition continues to be the ideal platform to present customers and industry professionals with the latest innovative products and solutions. Now on its 40th year, the large numbers that it continued to attract allows us to establish and further develop relationships with new and existing clients.”

“Daikin’s MCP solutions are engineered for the demands of modern buildings and highly flexible to accommodate potential expansion in the future. In addition, the modular system offers a pre-engineered design with single source responsibility--constructed in a controlled factory environment; reducing construction lead times and assembled and tested prior to shipping to site. Also, it gives reduced labor risk; shorter start-up and commissioning times; reduced footprint; easy phased installation and ease of relocation,” Paolo added.

Daikin is traditionally renowned for the innovative HVAC products and technologies. Now Daikin Middle East and Africa has taken the next step forward to provide our customers with HVAC tailor made solution in a form of Factory Assembled Modular Chiller Plants and other modular factory packaged solutions. Being a leading Japanese manufacturer of the core component of the chilled water plant, i.e. Chillers, combined with the in-house expertise of system engineering and after-sales capabilities, Daikin’s Modular Chiller Plant solution provides the customers with a quality solution and single source responsibility throughout the Chiller Plant Lifecycle.
