Daikin recently supplied chiller units from the R-32 Small inverter Chiller Series, to meet the cooling needs of an office building of a major Spanish bank.

The project was executed in Girona (Spain) and aimed at refurbishing an old HVAC system. The project was meant to provide the building with a more efficient, environmentally sustainable, and also flexible system. As different parts of the building are used for different purposes, Daikin introduced the concept of modularity.
For this reason, 8 Small Inverter Chillers were installed, so the cooling load can be better satisfied based on the actual demand of the differently parts of the buildings in different moments of the day/month/year.
Besides energy efficiency, availability at stock was another relevant aspect, as the customer had to meet a tight deadline. The fact that the R-32 Small Inverter Chiller Series is always available at stock helped a lot, allowing the project to be completed on time.
