Danfoss has declared that Rogerio Federici will take over as head of Danfoss Turbocor Compressors on January 1, 2025. He replaces Ricardo Schneider, who will transition to retirement after 32 years at Danfoss, including 16 years as President of Turbocor. Schneider will remain as an Executive Advisor to aid the transition.
Federici, currently leading Sales & Marketing for Turbocor, steps into the role with 28 years of expertise at Danfoss. "Rogerio’s appointment reflects our commitment to ensuring seamless leadership transitions and continued growth," noted Kristian Strand, President, Commercial Compressors at Danfoss.
Danfoss Turbocor is renowned for its oil-free, magnetic bearing compressor technology, known for energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact. Under Schneider, the company doubled in size every five years, global production quadrupled, and revenue rose tenfold.
The company expanded its manufacturing footprint with a new factory in Tallahassee, Florida, and engaged in community partnerships, including STEM initiatives and renewable energy projects.
Federici expressed enthusiasm for future growth, stating, "We have a talented team and a powerful vision to advance our technology." Schneider voiced confidence in Federici's leadership, underscoring the company's ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability.
