Danfoss Wins AmCham’s 2024 Transatlantic Company of the Year Award

At the 2024 AmCham Gala Dinner, Danfoss was honored with the prestigious Transatlantic Company of the Year Award. Jørgen Mads Clausen, accepting the award on behalf of Danfoss, emphasized the significance of their work in the U.S. and the exceptional business environment. He credited the award to Danfoss' 7,000 high-performing colleagues across North America, whose dedication and efforts made this recognition possible.

Over the past five years, Danfoss has significantly invested in the U.S., most notably with the opening of a new factory in Tallahassee, Florida. This facility expands their capacity to produce oil-free, magnetic bearing compressors, catering to chillers and data centers. These investments underscore Danfoss’ commitment to sustainability and innovation.

The selection jury, which included notable figures such as Jørgen Bardenfleth, Bjarne Corydon, and Sanna Suvanto-Harsaae, commended Danfoss for its achievements. Jury spokesperson Jørgen Bardenfleth praised Danfoss’ trajectory in the U.S. over the past five years, highlighting its focus on sustainability and strong U.S. investments.

Stephen Brugger, AmCham’s Executive Director, emphasized that this award showcases the importance of the U.S. market for Danish companies and sets a standard of excellence for others to follow.
