DHL Global Forwarding Belgium than doubled the size of temperature controlled facilities at Brussels Airport

DHL Global Forwarding Belgium has more than doubled the size of its temperature controlled facilities at Brussels Airport on the back of growth in the segment. The development sees the forwarder expand its GDP licensed temperature controlled area to 5,300 sq m from its previous 1,750 sq m. It will offer a total of 2,700 pallet positions split over three temperature zones, the largest being for goods to be handled between +15°C to + 25°C degrees. The facility also allows in-house screening through X-ray, ensuring cargo is secured without additional external handling. The extension is now under process of licensing by the official health authorities. Read More
