ebm-papst and PETRA expand strategic partnership for datacenter cooling

ebm-papst, a global manufacturer of fans and motors based in Germany, has announced a strengthened strategic partnership with Jordan-based PETRA Engineering Industries Co., Ltd., a producer of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.

Under the new agreement, PETRA becomes a Group Account within the ebm-papst organization, ensuring it receives dedicated account management, prioritized service, and global coordination. PETRA will also have first-choice access to ebm-papst's EC fans for all datacenter-related applications.

The partnership includes engineering support such as technical consultancy, performance testing, and simulation services. This aims to accelerate the development of customized solutions for datacenter applications and support PETRA’s global operations with reliable supply.

For ebm-papst, the collaboration supports its focus on high-efficiency cooling technologies and enhances its position in the datacenter segment. PETRA has committed to making ebm-papst EC fans its preferred option for datacenter business activities.

Thomas Nuernberger, CSO of the ebm-papst Group and President & CEO of Air Technology APAC & MEA, stated: "Our partnership with PETRA reflects the principle of 'making the future together.' It strengthens our strategic position and allows us to deliver innovative, high-performance solutions for datacenter applications."

Omar Abu Wishah, Vice Chairman of PETRA Engineering, said: "This strategic partnership marks a new chapter in our collaboration with ebm-papst. Together, we are committed to driving innovation and expanding our business in the datacenter sector."
