ebm‑papst Mulfingen has received AMCA (Air Movement and Control Association International) accreditation for its combination test bench and certification for its RadiPac3C series plenum fans. The certification supports the company's efforts to meet international standards in air technology and energy efficiency.
The company’s combined test bench has been certified under AMCA 111, in accordance with ISO 5801 and ISO 13347-3. This accreditation confirms the accuracy of performance measurements and the test bench's compliance with international standards. It enables ebm‑papst to validate fan performance under controlled laboratory conditions.
The RadiPac3C series built-in plenum fans have received both AMCA certification and the Eurovent Certified Performance label. The joint certification program by AMCA International and Eurovent Certification evaluates air flow, pressure, acoustic properties, and energy efficiency (FEI). Products are assessed through AMCA protocols, followed by Eurovent approval audits and annual surveillance tests.
The certification aims to simplify product validation for manufacturers and ensure system reliability in ventilation applications. It also supports compliance with regulations, particularly in critical and hazardous areas, and allows easier comparison across manufacturers.
“AMCA certification is a significant step for us and our customers,” said Dr. Julien Grilliat, Director of Regulatory Affairs at ebm‑papst. “It strengthens confidence in our products and underscores our commitment to quality and sustainability.”
