From 1 July 2016 onwards, professional refrigerated storage cabinets placed on the EU market, should come with an energy label indicating their energy efficiency, with a scale from A or A+++ (most efficient) to G (least efficient). Three years later, from 1 July 2019, the label with the energy efficiency scale A+++ to G should be used only.
The relevant Regulation (EU) 2015/1094 can be found
here.
Each label will provide such important information as: the company that made or placed the product on the market, the model, its energy efficiency class, the annual energy consumption in kWh, the net volumes in litres of chilled and of frozen compartments and the climate class (3, 4 or 5), together with the associated dry bulb temperature and the relative humidity.
To fill these fields in, simply click on the chosen energy label below.
The printed label for a product sold in a shop has to have the minimum dimension 110 mm wide x 220 mm high. The label should be clearly visible and associated to each displayed product.
