EPEE Director General Andrea Voigt will join Danfoss

Andrea Voigt will join Danfoss as of 1 July 2021. She will take up the position of Vice President, Head of Group Public Affairs and Sustainability.

Voigt comes with a background of over 20 years in the heating and cooling industry.

For the past 11 years, she served as Director General of the Brussels based industry trade association EPEE – The European Partnership for Energy and the Environment, one of the leading voices of the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump industry at European and at global level.

“These past 11 years leading EPEE were a truly enriching experience, both from a personal and from a professional perspective. But 11 years is also a very long time. I have decided that I have arrived at a point in my career where it’s the right moment to move on and to take up a new challenge. Of course, EPEE continues to be very important and the transition phase will allow us to ensure perfect continuity while looking for an adequate successor. These are very crucial times for the heating and cooling industry: it is more essential than ever to ensure life in today’s society with a safe and reliable cold chain and a healthy and productive indoor climate, while contributing substantially to achieve European and global climate and energy goals”, says Andrea Voigt.

“I am very happy that Andrea Voigt will join Danfoss. With her industry knowledge and international profile, Voigt will be a strong force in Public Affairs in Danfoss. In the light of the megatrends present in the world, the products and solutions of Danfoss have never been more relevant. Green, sustainable technologies that reduce emissions have truly gained momentum. Most of the technologies that can accelerate the energy transition over the coming decades are already present, proven, and ready to be scaled up. This means that the importance of our presence and efforts in the EU and globally will grow,” says Martin Rossen, Senior Vice President, Head of Group Communication in Danfoss.
