GCCA Names 2026 Board Leadership After Governance Update

The Global Cold Chain Alliance has announced the volunteer leaders who will guide its strategic direction in 2026, a year the organization describes as marked by transformation, renewed focus and expanded global representation.

The announcement follows bylaw updates that consolidate governance into a single, unified GCCA Board. In early 2026, the legacy International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses and the International Refrigerated Transportation Association formally merged under the GCCA banner.

Tim Ludwig of Congebec will serve as chair of the GCCA Board of Directors. Francisco Moura of IceStar Logistics was named vice chair, Larry Alderfer of United States Cold Storage treasurer, Karen Reece of Eskimo Cold Storage secretary, and Jason Dreisbach of Dreisbach Enterprises past chair.

The GCCA Board includes representatives from refrigerated warehousing, transportation and regional councils covering Africa, Brazil, Europe and Latin America. The Global Cold Chain Foundation Board of Governors will be chaired by Adam Forste of Lineage Logistics, with Graham Harvey of NewCold as vice chair and Mathew Moore of Americold Logistics as treasurer.

“These leaders bring the operational expertise, global perspective, and strategic vision needed to advance the cold chain at a defining moment for our industry,” said Sara Stickler, GCCA President and CEO. “At a pivotal moment when GCCA is examining our mission, vision, and value; we need leaders who bring the highest levels of thought leadership to the table. I am deeply grateful for their service and confident that together, we will deliver the strategic leadership, advocacy, and value our members deserve in 2026 and beyond.”
