Heinz von Heiden GmbH Massivhäuser, which the company describes as one of Germany’s largest manufacturers of solid homes, has entered into a strategic partnership with Swedish heat pump maker Qvantum. Under the agreement, modular and affordable house types will be equipped as standard with Qvantum’s QE all-in-one exhaust air heat pumps.
According to the companies, the QE unit combines heating, cooling, domestic hot water production and controlled ventilation in one system. The unit occupies 0.4 square metres (about 4.3 sq ft) of floor space and is installed بالكامل inside the building, removing the need for an outdoor unit and reducing outdoor noise emissions.
Qvantum said the QE series includes an integrated thermal storage unit, described as a thermal battery, to store surplus energy and support operation with variable electricity tariffs. The systems also include cloud connectivity and a controller that allows commissioning, monitoring and control via an app or on the display. The modular design is intended to support faster installation and easier maintenance during construction.
Heinz von Heiden said its Modicus product line is designed around calculable construction costs, shorter building times and high quality, and has been sold more than 262 times. The company plans to relaunch Modicus nationwide in spring 2026 in a further optimized design as a special anniversary home marking its 95th anniversary.
“The fact that a market leader like Heinz von Heiden has chosen our solution is a great confirmation for us,” said Wolfgang Herold, Managing Director of Qvantum in Germany. Dr. Helge Mensching, Managing Director of Heinz von Heiden GmbH, added: “Today, our customers expect not only a high-quality home, but also modern, sustainable and cost-efficient building technology.”
