Gree Nigeria Seeks Greater Opportunity

Accompanied by Gree President Assistant, Mr. Xie Dongbo, a delegation of 38 people, including the state governors of Lagos, Nigeria and representatives of Choice International Group, visited Gree headquarters in Zhuhai on Nov. 17, 2019.

The government delegation of Nigeria visited Gree overseas sales building, RAC production line and national key laboratories one after another. In the production factory and laboratory, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the state governor of Lagos, expressed keen interest on Gree automation production line and air-cooled screw chiller test bed, and asked many questions to Xie about production management and R&D experiment. Xie gave a comprehensive introduction to the production line and laboratory by combining Gree’s quality management principle and innovative technology concept, and emphasized that Gree has always taking superior product quality as its own core competitiveness.

During the meeting, Xie delivered a speech on Gree’s development history, global strategy and future cooperation with Choice. Meanwhile, he introduced Gree’s global key reference projects as well, including the split type units in staff dormitory of Dangote oil refinery, urban railway project of Abuja, Lagos International Airport and so on. He pointed out that, under the impetus of the “Belt and Road” initiative and “China-Africa Beijing Summit” policy, the African market will gain more and more development opportunities and potential and we shall seize the opportunities firmly. In the future, if the state government has any projects, we will spare no efforts to provide the best products and overall services.

Besides, Xie recognized Choice’s contributions on Gree brand promotion and expressed the gratitude of Gree to Ms. Chen Xiuxia, CEO of Choice. As an outstanding cooperation partner of Gree in Nigeria, Choice has been working hard for the market, allowing more and more local consumers to experience Gree’s excellent services and deepen people’s impression on Gree.

Chen said, “Choice is not only a responsible operator of international brand, but also one of the most loyal cooperative partners of Gree. We will continue to do our utmost to promote Gree in Nigeria. As a benchmark of Chinese brand, Gree has brought good life experience for Nigerian people with the tenable product quality. Moreover, we are so happy to work with Gree, a responsible enterprise of great strength, to realize the dream of ‘Made in China, Loved by the World’!”

Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, state governor of Lagos, made a speech as well. “Thank you for taking time to show us the headquarters. We can feel the glorious history of Gree about its innovative spirit and fast development pace over the past 30 years after that. Nigeria has huge market potential and development opportunity, especially Lagos, the economic center. We hope Gree to come to Lagos for investment and produce more good air conditioning products for our people.”

The visit this time plays an important role in promoting future cooperation and communication among Lagos, Choice and Gree. In virtue of this meeting, Gree Overseas Sales Company will continue to bring high-quality products and services for the Nigerian market, build Gree brand awareness and realize the goal of “Made in China, Loved by the Nigeria”.
