Grocery Store in Northern Ireland Now Operates in Hydroloop Cooling System

A recently opened after a full refurbishment convenience store in Camlough, Newry city in Northern Ireland has opted for propane (R290) waterloop system from FREOR. Hughes Nisa Extra is a family-run petrol station & supermarket which aims to provide a friendly service to the local community and surrounding area. The store offers its clients locally sourced, farm-fresh quality products. Propane-based Green Wave line refrigerated display showcases and freezers were chosen for the meat, dairy, pre-packed product, and frozen food sections.

This is our second Hydroloop Glycol system project in the country. The installation was carried out by DSRefrigeration – a young and dynamic company with more than 15 years of expertise in refrigeration and air conditioning.

The new larger shop premises look lovely and the wooden accents give shopping in this store a homely atmosphere. Display showcases complement the store design.

Equipment installed:

  • Upright glass door freezers ERIDA  and ERIDA SLIM
  • Multideck display cabinets JUPITER and JUPITER VISION F&V ROLLER
  • Stand-alone refrigerated showcases IDA S H2, specially customized according to the request of the customer.

Into the Green Technologies

Innovative waterloop solutions are gaining ground in different parts of the world. There are an estimated 2000 stores globally using R290 waterloop technology. The R290 Hydroloop technology by FREOR offers both an environmentally-friendly and a cost-friendly solution. Excess condensation heat is removed through liquid pipes to the exterior of a building avoiding premises overheat. Other benefits include that the installation work does not require much effort and the leakage of refrigerant is close to zero.
