Haier and Masterwatt Partner on Heat Pumps in the Netherlands

Haier HVAC Solutions Europe and Masterwatt have entered a strategic partnership to distribute sustainable heating technologies in the Netherlands. The collaboration supports Haier HVAC Solutions Europe’s expansion in the Dutch market and focuses on HVAC systems for residential and commercial applications.

The partnership will initially cover Haier Air-to-Water Heat Pumps and Heat Pump Water Heaters. Masterwatt, founded in 2016, specializes in electric heating solutions in the Netherlands and works with professional installers, wholesalers, residential projects and commercial building applications.

Haier’s latest technologies include systems using the natural refrigerant R290. The Haier R290 high temperature Air-to-Water heat pump range is available in single-phase and three-phase versions, with capacities from 4 kW to 16 kW, and is designed for heating and domestic hot water production.

The Haier M7 and M8 Heat Pump Water Heaters are designed for residential domestic hot water applications, with capacities from 80 to 250 litres. Masterwatt will support the rollout through its sales organization, back-office team, service department and in-house training programs.

“The partnership with Masterwatt will enable the delivery of the latest products, solutions, and services from the Haier heating and hot water portfolio to the Dutch market. Masterwatt is well established in the Netherlands and offers comprehensive support to both wholesalers and installers. We are confident that this collaboration will deliver a highly competitive product portfolio, underpinned by a strong level of customer support for professionals across the heating and renewable energy sectors,” said Chris Johnson, Head of Heating Northern Europe at Haier HVAC Solutions.
