Heatcraft Refrigeration Products Announces July 2018 Price Increase

Heatcraft Refrigeration Products announced a general price increase for customers effective July 1, 2018, on select commercial refrigeration products. This general price increase, ranging from 2.5% - 3.5%, is driven by the announcement of tariffs on steel and aluminum in the first quarter of this year that has affected the cost of raw materials, as well as purchased components that contain those materials.

"We continuously strive to offset cost with process improvements and productivity enhancements, but it has become necessary to increase our prices to offset rising raw material costs and ensure our ability to continue delivering value to customers moving forward,” said Jeff Pecoroni, Vice President, Sales, Heatcraft Refrigeration Products.
