Hoshizaki America Names Jake Kimmel as Director of Training

Hoshizaki America, a leading manufacturer of commercial ice and refrigeration equipment, has announced Jake Kimmel as the new Director of Training. Kimmel, who has almost two decades of experience in product management, training, and business development, has been a key member of the Hoshizaki team for nearly eight years.

Kimmel holds an MBA from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University. In his tenure at Hoshizaki, he has served as Product Manager and Warranty & Training Manager. His work has been pivotal in advancing the company’s training initiatives, particularly through the deployment of technical advisors and the expansion of product offerings.

Kimmel began his new role during the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show in May. Since then, he has been actively working to build and transform the company's product training department.

“We are excited to appoint Jake as our new Director of Training,” said Sally Ray, Vice President of Marketing. “Jake’s extensive experience and proven track record in product management and training make him the ideal leader to advance our training programs. His work has already had a tremendous impact, and we are confident that under his leadership, our training department will continue to excel and expand.”

As Director of Training, Kimmel will oversee all product training initiatives, focusing on enhancing the capabilities of Hoshizaki’s workforce. Hoshizaki is eager to welcome more industry professionals to its two Georgia-based manufacturing facilities, where they will benefit from Kimmel’s expertise and the company’s advanced training resources.
