Hudson Technologies CEO Brian Coleman steps down

Hudson Technologies, a major U.S. refrigerant reclaimer and provider of sustainable HVACR products and services, announced the immediate departure of Chairman and CEO Brian Coleman.

Coleman joined the company as CFO in 1997 and was appointed President and COO in 2001. He had served as Chairman, President, and CEO since June 2020.

The company’s Board of Directors is currently finalizing its search for a new CEO. In the interim, CFO Brian Bertaux will take on the CEO role until a permanent successor is named.

“We thank Brian for his dedication and contributions,” said Vincent Abbatecola, Lead Independent Director. “His leadership during challenging times helped strengthen our market position and improve our balance sheet.”

According to the company, it is positioned to pursue both organic and inorganic growth, supported by long-term industry trends.
