Intermarche supermarkets chose refrigeration equipment from FREOR

FREOR and its partner Qualifrio recently collaborated on four projects to equip Intermarche supermarkets in Portugal with refrigeration solutions. The Intermarche chain’s top priority is offering customers the fairest prices and a convenient shopping experience every day. Its stores sought reliable, customer-friendly refrigeration equipment. The chain already had experience with FREOR commercial refrigeration equipment and so was quick to choose FREOR again.

The store in the city of Serpa chose a VEGA QB H2 self-service counter, JUPITER multidecks with glass doors, and a JUPITER VISION multideck featuring shelves with boxes as an ideal solution for vertical display of fruits and vegetables. More generally, the JUPITER VISION is an open chiller that provides great product visibility from every angle, optimizing visual impact.

At the Intermarche store in Ferreira do Zêzere, firstly VEGA QB HG and VEGA QB H2 counters were installed. As a multi-level self-service counter, the VEGA QB H2 provides a large display area for pre-packed items and puts products in comfortable reach of customers.

It was multi-flexed with the VEGA QB HG serve-over, whose selective high glass design protects against fogging. The store also went with ERIDA freezers and rows of JUPITER multidecks.

For the new store in Azambuja, the first picks from FREOR’s range were VEGA S HG counters with a rounded glass design, for a pleasant visual effect of the food on display, and a heated VEGA S HDV showcase to display hot meals, with mirrored doors enhancing their view.

Also installed at the store were HELLA long freezer islands with push glass lids for reduced energy consumption and, in the sales area, 25 m of JUPITER multidecks for products of all kinds.

Last but not least, the Intermarche in the city of Almada chose JUPITER multidecks and ERIDA freezers.

Anti-condensation foil on an internal pane in the ERIDA freezers reliably prevents any fogging from opening the glass doors. And the temperature in them stays even throughout all the inner spaces between the shelves.

All the commercial refrigeration equipment installed at the Intermarche supermarket stores in Portugal operates on a remote cooling system.
