Later this year the IOR will be holding annual elections for Board members. It will also hold an election for the next President-Elect.

IOR President-Elect nominations
The role of the President-Elect is to support the current IOR President in their role as Chairman of the IOR Board of Trustees until they stand down the following year. The Board would like to recommend the two candidates below to the membership to select their next President-Elect from:
Our Constitution requires that the Board make a recommendation to the members of one or more candidates for President-Elect. A Nominating Committee consisting of the current Board Members and Past Presidents considered 13 possible candidates against the role specification. Members may now propose additional candidates for President-Elect at any time up until noon on 6th September - further details and nomination forms are available from the webpage below.

Online voting opens 1st October
Voting Members (i.e. Fellow, Member, Associate and Technician grade) will receive an email with their voting code and a link to a specialist voting website where the statements of all candidates standing for election will be shown. Voting will close on 30th October.
Results and appointment
The results of both elections will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on 6th November at 4.15pm in London. The invitation and Agenda for the AGM will be emailed to members on in October.
