IOR waives joining fee for new members

To support three new initiatives– the formation of a Young Engineers Network, the Women in RACHP 100for100 campaign and World Refrigeration Day – the IOR has announced that it is waiving the £49 joining fee element of the first year's membership fee for new members until 26th June when World Refrigeration Day is taking place.

The IOR wants the whole of the industry to get behind these ideas designed to encourage more involvement in our industry – particularly by under-represented groups. IOR membership is open to everyone – including people working in non technical support roles (Affiliate), recent graduates with limited experience (Associate or AMInstR), and F-gas qualified technicians (TMInstR). If you are working with someone new to the industry or who perhaps has not realised that they are eligible to join the IOR please pass this news on and ask them to Join Up Now! at www.ior.org.uk/membership
