Jordan's Ministry of Environment published Jordan's National Cooling Strategy

Jordan’s Ministry of Environment published its National Cooling Strategy (NCS), developed in close collaboration with the Cool Up programme.

Jordan’s NCS serves as a roadmap for transitioning towards sustainable cooling practices, promoting energy efficiency, and advocating
for environmentally friendly refrigerants and sets the framework for the National Cooling Action Plan (NCAP) which is currently under development. The NCAP links to the strategic areas outlined in the National Cooling Strategy.

Jordan’s focus on sustainable cooling aligns with broader developments objectives, offering a comprehensive solution that enhances climate resilience, resource efficiency, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
