Kiwa Creiven Joins Heat Pump KEYMARK as 30th Registered Testing Laboratory

The Heat Pump KEYMARK certification has registered Kiwa Creiven, based in Padova, Italy, as its 30th accredited testing laboratory. This milestone strengthens the certification scheme’s commitment to independent, transparent, and reliable testing for heat pumps across Europe.

Testing laboratories play a crucial role in certification by verifying compliance with European standards and regulations. As third-party test centres, they ensure that manufacturers’ quality and performance data remain objective and trustworthy.

The Heat Pump KEYMARK scheme aims to guarantee that heat pumps meet high-quality and performance benchmarks, instilling confidence in both consumers and industry professionals. Kiwa Creiven’s registration further expands the network of accredited laboratories, increasing the accessibility and credibility of the certification process.

Kiwa Creiven is a well-established testing and certification body with extensive experience in evaluating heat pump performance. Its inclusion in the KEYMARK network enhances the scheme’s ability to support manufacturers seeking certification, contributing to a harmonised approach to quality assurance.

Ernst Vossers, Commercial Manager at Kiwa, commented on the achievement:

“We are proud that our brand-new lab in Italy joins the Heat Pump KEYMARK scheme as its 30th registered testing laboratory. This certification is a benchmark of excellence in the industry, and we are committed to upholding its rigorous standards. By working together, we can provide manufacturers with the confidence and reliability they need to bring high-quality heat pumps to the European market. With this new laboratory, we have extended our testing capabilities for Air-Water heat pumps with a capacity up to 100 kW. This fits into our strategy to provide our clients with multiple testing services (like Safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility/ Radio frequency, and Performance) in the same location.”

With Kiwa Creiven’s addition, the Heat Pump KEYMARK scheme reaffirms its dedication to transparency, consistency, and trust. This registration marks another step in ensuring that certified heat pumps meet high standards for performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
