Lancer TwinPour Wins First Place in the Cool New Product Category at NACS 2019

HOSHIZAKI Corporation's US subsidiary Lancer Corporation (hereinafter, Lancer) won first place for its beverage dispenser TwinPour in the Cool New Products category at the NACS Show 2019 held in Atlanta, Georgia, from October 1 to 4, 2019. This is the second prize TwinPour has won this year, after winning the Kitchen Innovations Award at the National Restaurant Association Show in May.
The NACS Show, hosted by the National Association of Convenience Stores, is one of the largest expos for convenience store and fuel retailing industry professionals. The NACS Show 2019 featured over 1200 exhibiting companies—not only food/beverage and daily commodity manufacturers, but also store equipment-related companies and IT companies—attracting more than 23,500 visitors from 69 countries across the world. The Cool New Products Preview Room at the venue showcased as many as 309 products. In this room, by scanning the barcode of a product, visitors could capture the product details and exhibitor contact information. At the same time, the number of scans was totaled for each product. Of the 309 products featured in the New Products Preview Room, TwinPour was the most scanned, winning first place in the Cool New Products category.
TwinPour is a highly unique beverage dispenser capable of simultaneously serving two customers, with up to 266 variations of beverages. Customers can choose beverages and flavors by pressing a touchscreen. The front of the dispenser sports a large, 32-inch LCD monitor, where users can display ads and videos. Self-serve beverage dispensers are in widespread use at U.S. convenience stores and gas stations. TwinPour, which has two pour points capable of serving two different beverages at the same time and therefore removes the need to install two dispensers. It was rated highly for being space-saving, and for its capacity to serve greater numbers of 
customers.
