Lennox Launches New Business Focused on Data Centre Cooling Solutions

Lennox, a global leader in energy-efficient climate control, has launched Lennox Data Centre Solutions, a new business unit dedicated to meeting the unique cooling demands of data centres across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This move aims to deliver innovative, sustainable cooling solutions tailored to the data centre industry's rapid expansion, projected to grow at a 9.1% CAGR through 2030.

The substantial energy requirements of data centres demand highly efficient heat rejection and reuse solutions. With extensive expertise in precise and reliable cooling systems, Lennox Data Centre Solutions provides a full portfolio of advanced cooling technologies specifically for data centres. The range includes close control units (CCUs), computer room air handler (CRAH) units, fan wall units (FWUs), cooling distribution units (CDUs), chillers, and adiabatic and conventional dry coolers.

Lennox Data Centre Solutions’ approach is customer-centric, treating each data centre project as unique. Matt Evans, CEO of Lennox Data Centre Solutions, highlights that "the business will lead with an engineering consultancy approach to heat-rejection solutions, working closely with customers to deliver tailored cooling systems."

Drawing from Lennox’s extensive resources, including manufacturing sites in France and Spain and certified Eurovent test facilities, the business has also recruited data centre specialists to enhance its industry expertise. A team of over 100 technical engineers supports product commissioning, service, and maintenance across Europe, ensuring seamless integration and support for complex data centre projects.

With ambitious growth plans, Lennox Data Centre Solutions is expanding its EMEA team and establishing a partner network of consultants and system integrators to provide comprehensive support to data centres. The company aims to be the preferred cooling solutions provider for Enterprise, Colocation, and Hyperscale data centres, reinforcing Lennox’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
