The new ABRAVA 360 board has officially taken leadership of the Brazilian Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Heating (ABRAVA) for the 2025–2028 term. The inauguration ceremony took place on June 3 at FIESP headquarters, bringing together around 150 guests. The board has committed to promoting sustainable growth in the HVACR sector in Brazil, with a focus on air quality, food safety, and decarbonization.
Engineer Leonardo Cozac has assumed the presidency, joined by newly elected vice presidents Priscila Baioco, Marcelo Munhoz, and Roberto Montemor. During the ceremony, the new executive board, administrative council, and fiscal council were also presented. The incoming leadership plans to foster technological development, strengthen the market, defend sector interests, and enhance institutional representation.
In his speech, Cozac emphasized the association’s commitment to sustainable development. “Our central objective is the sustainable growth of the HVACR sector in Brazil. We aim to improve ABRAVA’s operational management, modernize processes, expand representation, strengthen governance, and structure a solid agenda that generates development for the sector and each of our member companies,” he said.
“Leading ABRAVA also means understanding the diversity of our sector. We represent companies of various profiles, sizes, and segments. Our challenge — and our commitment — is to align these interests and build a collaborative agenda that promotes collective development. We will do this with ethics, transparency, constant dialogue, active listening, and open doors — both for our members and for other entities and partners in the sector,” Cozac concluded.
The event was attended by representatives from industry companies, former ABRAVA presidents, authorities, and institutional partners. Pedro Evangelinos, who chaired the Administrative Council from 2019 to 2025 and is the current president of Sindratar SP, opened the ceremony by congratulating the elected board and thanking those involved in the previous term, especially Executive President Arnaldo Basile.
The new management is structured around six strategic pillars: Communication and Image, Education and Training, Organizational Management, Advocacy Implementation and Monitoring, and Financial Management. The action plan includes expanding vocational training programs, reviewing internal structures, engaging with regulatory bodies, and increasing membership.
ABRAVA 360’s strategic plan underscores the association’s commitment to ESG practices through initiatives aimed at public health, energy efficiency, and environmental preservation. The new board also aims to establish ABRAVA as a national and international reference for the sector and society.
Speaking on behalf of the elected vice presidents, Priscila Baioco expressed gratitude and emphasized diversity and inclusion. “For ABRAVA 360, innovation also includes diversity. We will continue and reinforce initiatives that make our sector more just, accessible, and diverse — valuing not only women’s participation but also combating ageism and promoting inclusion. This administration will be built collectively, with dialogue, transparency, and cooperation,” she said.
The ceremony concluded with a reception, reaffirming ABRAVA’s tradition of uniting the HVACR sector and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Founded in 1962, ABRAVA represents the entire value chain of the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heating sectors in Brazil. The association operates nationwide through its board, 14 National Departments, and 6 Committees, working to disseminate information and strengthen the sector.
