The General Assembly of REHVA is pleased to announce the selection of Livio Mazzarella as the president-elect of the organization. The decision was made during this month's assembly, marking an exciting development for the future leadership of REHVA.
Livio Mazzarella, a distinguished professor at Politecnico di Milano, has been an invaluable member of REHVA for 15 years. With expertise in HVAC, Renewable Energy to Applied Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, and Acoustics, Livio has dedicated his career to modeling energy processes in buildings and community systems.
Having served as a board member since 2022 in the capacity of Vice-president, Livio's extensive experience and knowledge make him an ideal candidate for leading REHVA. His contributions to the field and commitment to advancing the organization's mission have earned him the trust and support of the REHVA community.
Catalin Lungu, the current president of REHVA, will officially pass on his responsibilities to Livio Mazzarella during the next Annual Meeting in June 2025. The handover ceremony will take place in Milan, Italy, where REHVA members and industry professionals will gather to celebrate this significant transition.
