LU-VE Group appoints the General Manager

LU-VE S.p.A. announces the appointment of Mr. Riccardo Quattrini as General Manager of the Group as of April 1, 2023, resolved by the Board of Directors at today's meeting upon the proposal of the President and CEO Dr. Matteo Liberali and the COO Mr. Michele Faggioli, consulted the Remuneration and Appointments Committee and the Board of Statutory Auditors.

Mr. Quattrini - who, in his role as General Manager, will support the Chairman and CEO, and the COO – is granted with powers of ordinary management.

Commented President and CEO Matteo Liberali “The introduction of the new role has as objective to grant growth, continuity and good management, in line to the values which has always shown the way: humility, passion, values and positive thinking. I am sure that Mr. Quattrini will give an extraordinary contribution and a further incentive to do always our best. I welcome him and wish him and to the whole group a good work and new further successes”.

My look is at the future and at the new challenges which await for us and at the new goals we have” said the newly appointed General Manager, Mr. Riccardo Quattrini.

Short Profile of the General Manager

After obtaining his degree in mechanical engineering with a management focus from the Marche Polytechnic University and a Master's degree in business management from ISTUD in Stresa, Italy, Mr. Riccardo Quattrini gained managerial experience operating for more than 25 years in Italian entrepreneurial companies, mainly active in the engineering industry with an international vocation. In these companies he held both technical and commercial/strategic roles.

In 2000 he started his collaboration with Biesse Group S.p.A., a company listed on Euronext STAR Milan, covering various roles until 2010 (Engineering Director, Brand Manager, Sales & Marketing Director). In 2010 he joined Cefra Group, with which he worked until 2017, during the last year as CEO. After a period in Aetna Group and in IFI S.p.A. as General Manager, in 2019, he re-enters Biesse Group S.p.A. to hold first the position of Director of the wood-industrial division and, starting from 2021, the role of Group Chief Product Strategy & Development Officer. In this role, he managed the Offering part (product, applied research and design, and putting on the market) and followed consulting and project management for large plants.

Under the requirements of the Instructions to the "Regolamento dei Mercati" organized and managed by Borsa Italiana, LU-VE informs that - on the basis of the information available to the Company - as of today, Mr. Quattrini is not a holder of any LU-VE shares.
