Marshall Fleet Solutions opens new Training School for transport refrigeration and tail lift products

As part of its growing training development programme, Marshall Fleet Solutions has recently opened a brand new training school facility at its North West branch in Wigan. This new MFS facility provides a full suite of training modules covering Thermo King transport refrigeration products and a selection of brand new tail lift equipment. The purpose built training room is equipped with all mod cons including air conditioning and a state of the art presenting suite. Separately, there are two attached practical demonstration areas where the learners can be hands on with up to date equipment. At its new Training School, MFS undertakes a full range of transport refrigeration courses covering factory backed modules for all Thermo King products, including the latest state-of-the-art SLX-i trailer systems. Using an actual SLX-i demonstration model on the courses allows engineers to cover installation, maintenance and fault diagnosis training, as well as other elements such as soft skills and customer support training. Within the transport refrigeration course, engineers also get to work with a new insulated test chamber, which mimics the performance of a refrigerated truck body. Within the tail lift training modules, engineers benefit from training programmes based around four brand new tail lifts from various manufacturers, ensuring that they are enhancing their skill sets with the most up-to-date technical and compliance training possible. For both transport refrigeration and tail lift products, MFS is also offering operator modules for those customers looking to upskill the training of their employees. This new MFS training facility operates under the general direction of Marshall Fleet Solutions’ Training Manager Nigel Jupp, who comments, “The development of our ongoing training programme for transport refrigeration led by MFS Technical Training Specialist Dave Darrington, as well as training for tail lift products, is integral to the future success of our service and product installation business streams. By investing in this brand new facility, MFS will ensure that both its staff and customers benefit from the latest training modules in support of our comprehensive product portfolio.” Source: Marshall Fleet Solutions
