The General Assembly of Assoclima – Costruttori Sistemi di Climatizzazione, part of Anima Confindustria, has reappointed Maurizio Marchesini as President of the Association for the 2025–2027 term.
Marchesini is CEO and board member of Rhoss S.p.A., a company of the Swedish Nibe Group. With over 30 years of experience in the HVAC&R sector, he has been actively involved in Assoclima’s General Council since 2019, taking on roles of increasing responsibility.
In his remarks to the Assembly, Marchesini reviewed the achievements of the previous term, noting that the Association has grown in both membership and scope through multiple collaborations. “Our goals are to protect and promote a complex and solid industrial sector,” he said. “We will continue to build partnerships with others who can expand our reach.”
For the new term, Marchesini outlined a strategic focus on energy transition, industrial reinforcement, supply chain synergies, and inclusion of vulnerable groups. Emphasizing the international geopolitical and economic context, he reiterated the sector’s strategic role: “Europe is struggling, but it shows the will to continue on the path of decarbonization. Alongside ‘green’ and ‘clean’, the industrial dimension is increasingly relevant. Our commitment is to strengthen the link between environment and competitiveness.”
He called for long-term perspective and investment: “Assoclima represents technologies that are key to the energy transition and a sector that can contribute to the economy of Europe and especially Italy. Every cent invested in this sector helps achieve environmental, economic, and social goals.”
Among the priorities for the new mandate is Assoclima’s contribution to a Social Climate Plan aimed at inclusivity. “Decarbonization cannot be a process for the few. People and businesses affected by rising energy prices must be involved and supported. Our approach will remain pragmatic and grounded,” Marchesini concluded.
The President will be supported by the General Council, including Vice Presidents, elected Councillors Luigi Zucchi, Michele Albieri, Luca Germano, Ettore Alfredo Jovane, and Alberto Villa, as well as Commission Presidents and Product Group Leaders.
