Midea Opens First Branded Showroom and Training Center in Florida

Midea, through its distributor AAA AC Supplies Inc., has inaugurated its first branded showroom, training center, and distribution facility in Florida. The grand opening took place on February 13, 2025, at 2345 N. Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee. The 31,000-square-foot facility will serve as a hub for education, installation guidance, heat pump sizing, sales support, and after-sales services.

The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live product demonstrations, and interactive exhibits showcasing Midea’s heating and cooling solutions. Notable attendees included former St. Cloud Mayor Nathan Blackwell, Orange County Deputy Sheriff Thomas Lin, and industry representatives from Lowe’s Pro Services, Atlantic Air, and Associated Air Products, Inc. Students and instructors from Orange Technical College also participated in the event.

Showcasing Midea's Heat Pump Technology

The Orlando showroom highlights Midea’s flexible and efficient heat pump solutions, designed for various residential settings. Homeowners in apartments and small homes can choose from space-saving systems like the Packaged Window Heat Pump (PWHP) or High-Wall Split Systems, while larger households can benefit from ducted EVOX G³ and EVOX Gen 2 systems or Multi-Zone configurations. Midea’s Heat Pump Water Heater (HPWH) is also featured, offering up to 75% energy savings compared to traditional models.

A Hub for Training and Industry Collaboration

In addition to product displays, the showroom provides training programs for HVAC professionals. Contractors can receive hands-on instruction in installation, maintenance, and sales strategies, equipping them to meet growing demand for energy-efficient heating and cooling systems. The facility also offers consultation services for heat pump sizing and installation guidance.

"This new showroom marks another milestone in Midea's mission to bring energy-efficient HVAC solutions to every corner of North America," said Vincent Chou of Midea RAC.

David Stewart, VP of Sales and Marketing of AAA AC Supplies Inc., emphasized the showroom’s broader role: "This showroom is designed to be more than just a product display - it's a center for education, hands-on demonstrations, and industry collaboration that will benefit both contractors and consumers."

The new facility underscores Midea's expansion in Florida and its commitment to advancing heat pump technology while supporting professionals and homeowners in adopting sustainable HVAC solutions.
