Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V., German Branch, has appointed Mario Poltronieri as President of the German Branch, effective April 1, 2026. He succeeds Andreas Wagner, who at the same time assumed leadership of Mitsubishi Electric’s Italian Branch.
Poltronieri previously served as President of the Italian Branch. According to Mitsubishi Electric, he brings international management experience within the group and led the Italian Branch’s strategic development while strengthening its position in key future-oriented markets.
The company said the move reflects its focus on continuity and international integration within its European organization. In Germany, Mitsubishi Electric positions the branch as a key pillar of its European business, with activities focused on heating, cooling and air conditioning technology, automation, energy solutions, as well as semiconductor, mobility and building technologies.
“I am very much looking forward to my new role in Germany – one of the most important markets for Mitsubishi Electric in Europe,” said Mario Poltronieri, President of the German Branch at Mitsubishi Electric. “Together with our team, I aim to continue our growth trajectory, further expand our role as a technological pioneer, and provide our customers with innovative solutions for tomorrow’s challenges.”
