Modine has officially opened its 14.6-acre Bradford, UK site, marking a step forward in its global expansion strategy. Dedicated to producing Airedale by Modine precision cooling products for data centers, the site commenced production two months early.
"The opening of the Bradford site is another exciting milestone in Modine's expansion strategy to serve global data center customers under the Airedale by Modine brand," stated Eric McGinnis, President of Climate Solutions. With rising demand for energy-efficient cooling, the added capacity enhances Modine's ability to meet global demand efficiently.
The Bradford facility will manufacture and test computer room air handlers and fan walls. Future expansion includes a state-of-the-art fan wall test center for R&D and factory acceptance tests.
Additionally, Art Laszlo has been appointed as the new Group Vice President for Data Centers. Previously leading the Liquid-Cooled Applications business, Laszlo will now guide the global Data Centers division and its growth strategies.
