Modine has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, outlining updated environmental goals and progress toward its long-term climate commitments. The U.S.-based thermal management company aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 compared to fiscal year 2018 levels.
The report highlights a 23% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions from 2018 to 2025, alongside a 46% drop in emissions intensity. Modine has also reduced its energy intensity by 30% since 2018 and achieved its 2030 water intensity reduction goal ahead of schedule.
New in this year’s report is the disclosure of select Scope 3 emissions categories, including purchased goods and services, transportation, and product use. Modine is also advancing product-level carbon footprint reporting and engaging with suppliers through platforms such as EcoVadis and IQ Plus.
Additional 2030 targets include a 40% reduction in energy and water intensity and the recycling or reduction of 85% of total waste. Facility-level initiatives include the transition to renewable electricity, smart building upgrades, and employee-led “Green Teams” focused on local improvements.
“Looking ahead, we are committed to delivering on our sustainability targets, increasing our impact, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in thermal management solutions,” said Neil D. Brinker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Modine.
