Mojave Energy Systems names Greg Tatro VP of Sales

Mojave Energy Systems announced the appointment of Greg Tatro as Vice President of Sales on January 6, 2026, in Sunnyvale, California. The company said Tatro will lead its global sales initiatives, with responsibilities that include driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market presence.

Tatro has more than 25 years of experience in HVAC sales growth roles, most recently as Director of National Sales at Valent Air Management. Mojave said he previously managed the Innovent and Valent aftermarket services team for four years and spent fourteen years at Trane in sales and service management roles. The company also said he owned and operated a contracting business for eight years.

Mojave said its ArctiDry commercial HVAC unit is designed to independently control dry bulb and dew point, allowing facilities managers to dehumidify without overcooling. The company reported that ArctiDry can supply air at dew points ranging from 35°F to 55°F (approx. 2°C to 13°C) and cited an ISMRE2 efficiency rating as high as 12 lbs/kWh (approx. 5.4 kg/kWh) and up to 14 lbs/kWh (approx. 6.4 kg/kWh) with ERV. Mojave also stated the system can drop into existing HVAC infrastructure, requires minimal maintenance, and can lower electricity consumption by up to 50 percent.

Mojave said it produces liquid desiccant systems that cool and dehumidify air and enable independent control of dew point and dry bulb, including for Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS). Based in Minnesota, Tatro holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign and an MBA from Mercer University. “With Greg’s background and track record, he will play an important role in our next phase of growth as ArctiDry is increasingly being adopted across North America,” said Phil Farese, CEO, Mojave Energy Systems.
