MOON Environment Technology receives UNIDO award for carbon neutrality solution

MOON Environment Technology has received the "Outstanding Solution in Industrial Manufacturing Carbon Neutrality" award at the 4th Carbon Neutral Technology Solutions Evaluation Conference, organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and hosted by UNIDO ITPO Shanghai.

Held in Shanghai under the theme “From Emissions to Solutions – Empowering Enterprises’ Green Globalization through the UN IDDI Initiative,” the event focused on energy, manufacturing, and governance. Over 50 representatives from international organizations, governments, research institutions, and enterprises participated in presenting innovative technologies aimed at promoting global industrial decarbonization.

MOON was recognized for its Comprehensive Smart Thermal Management Solution for Industrial Applications. The system integrates a “Source–Network–Load–Storage” framework to enable full-chain energy optimization. It uses an Intelligent Cloud Platform with a digital twin hub and AI-driven dynamic optimization to improve energy efficiency.

A key component of MOON’s solution is its industrial-grade high-temperature heat pump technology cluster, designed to support decarbonization in high-emission industries such as petrochemicals and textiles. The system allows for multi-scenario heat management across diverse thermal environments.

The company’s approach includes a multi-energy complementary and interconnected system that combines cooling, heating, water, steam, power, waste, and emissions. Its technology enables efficient recovery and reuse of heat sources across a wide temperature range from -35°C to 600°C, addressing challenges in energy quality matching and cascade utilization.

The conference served as a platform to highlight Chinese green technologies and their potential for global application. MOON stated its continued commitment to providing integrated energy solutions for sustainable industrial development and climate governance.
